Privacy Policy

This policy describes how PartyCommit processes information for group commitment pages and optional, permission-based marketing preferences.

Information PartyCommit processes

PartyCommit processes business account information, event details, and attendee information submitted when a guest claims a spot, including name, email address, mobile phone number, seat quantity, payment-status updates, and the event involved. When a business later uses a connected payment provider, PartyCommit may also process non-card audit details such as a random PartyCommit payment reference, provider account and payment identifiers, expected and received amounts, currency, timestamps, and refund status.

Payment data

Payment checkout remains with the event business or its connected payment provider. PartyCommit does not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or guest bank credentials. Provider credentials and webhook records are not exposed on public event pages.

Optional marketing consent

Email and text marketing choices are optional and are not required to claim a seat or make a purchase. PartyCommit records only the channels a guest actively selects, together with the event, business, time, consent version, source, and wording shown. Contact information alone does not make a guest a marketing contact.

Transactional event communication

Operational communication about a claim, payment instructions, event changes, cancellations, location details, or similar event administration is separate from marketing consent.

Who can access information

  • The business hosting an event can access its own attendee and consent information.
  • A PartyCommit business cannot access another PartyCommit business's attendee or marketing audience data.
  • Public event pages do not display guest email addresses, phone numbers, attendee payment records, or marketing audience lists.
  • PartyCommit does not automatically make a contact available for marketing by unrelated businesses.

How information is used

Information supports group commitments, event administration, payment-status tracking, account security, and the business's permitted export of contacts who opted into at least one marketing channel. PartyCommit currently records marketing permission; each business remains responsible for using exported contacts only through permitted channels and honoring opt-out requests.

Retention, access, and deletion requests

Requests to access, correct, or delete PartyCommit-held information may be sent to info@lifeinartpics.com. Requests may require identity verification and may be handled subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping needs. Guests may also contact the business that hosted their event.

Security and changes

PartyCommit uses authentication and database access controls to separate business data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated as the service or its data practices change.
